Mad Science is a game about scientific experimentation, in which players are able to design, create, and participate in user-generated experiments. The game offers a variety of pre-made scenarios, and then gives players the tools to go off and make their own. Think of it as LittleBigPlanet combined with the scientific method.
Mad Science is in development at the Playable Innovative Technologies Lab at Northeastern University. I joined professors Casper Harteveld and Gillian Smith at the beginning of the project in early 2014, helping them come up with the concept and overall design of the game, and serving as art director.
